Sharma Diagnostics in its present shape is since last 26 years. Prior to this, the lab was situated in hospital road under the guidance of Dr.Jagdeo Sharma when he was attached to Darbhanga Medical College and it was a very popular lab known as Sharma Clinical Laboratory which was remained from 1962 to 1991.

In 1991,the expanded form of the Laboratory came in to the existance in the present “Sharma Diagnostics” building.

This is the Laboratory where five higly qualified Doctors are working as a team sprits and almost entire branches of Pathology,Biochemistry and Microbiology are incorporated into it. This Ultramodern Diagnostic Centre is equipped with the latest computerised gadgets and adhere to the various stringent internal and external quality control mechanism.

Dr.Jagdeo Sharma has worked as Prof. and Head of Department in Pathology and Microbiology.During his tenure as “Professor” he has guided several dozens of research works related to Pathology and Microbiology to the Post Graduate Students of L.N Mithila University.Dr.Sharma has also worked as Inspector, Medical Council of India and has inspected the standards of the Pathology and Microbiology Laboratories of various reputed Medical College of the Country. He believes in “Quality” and the Laboratory participates regularly in External Quality control scheme (EQUAS) of Biorad,U.S.A under the superb guidance of Dr.Sharma and his Colleagues. The Laboratory has been rated in “ELITE”group of lab. This is also to be noted that Dr.Sharma has got the Laboratory experience of almost six decades right from the year 1962 to the Present date.
